School Training Policy
Instructor can observe student, take notes, and record student using a dash cam at any point of the training.
Student gives a permission to use students pictures for advertising purposes, if we made some.
- Fees: a fee of minimum 1 session is required to book a session. All fees must be paid prior or on the day when the service is provided. (E-transfer to yetirds@gmail.com). All packages must be paid in full before or during the first (1) session, unless other discussed.
- We provide training in Dawson Creek.
- Each session is 75 minutes long (GLP DW session is 90 minutes long, see additional form). Minimum driving time during 60 minutes in a one session or 30 minutes for the assessment.
- We provide one-on-one training. No additional people are allowed in the vehicle during a session.
- Road Test Rental available ONLY to YETI students with sufficient skills. If you have not completed any training with YETI, you do not qualify for this service. The number of sessions including morning sessions (not only 4:45pm) depends on your personal skills. RT day includes a student’s pick up/drop off, warm up before test, and a rental car for the road test. If you want to use our car for road test! Please, confirm the availability of the car on that day/time by contacting us before booking the test! We can book road test for you if necessary.
Refund Policy:
There will be no refund for sessions that have already been started. If a package is purchased, unused sessions can be refunded.
Used sessions will be charged at the $150 + GST per session, and $100 administrative fee is charged + GST. The balance will be refunded. Refund requests must be made by email, phone, or text to the Driving School.
End of the agreement: Six (6) months after the first lesson (unless other discussed) or when a student used all hours or passed a MSA, MST or Road Test.
We reserve the right to discontinue service to any client at any point during training. In Such cases, a refund will be issued for any unused sessions, less administrative fees. Decisions will be made at our discretion.
Canceling or rescheduling a session:
Cancellations must be done by email, phone, or text. Late cancellation fee might be applied.
Refund timeframes and amounts (driving sessions): 48 hours – fully refund or reschedule, 24 hours – 50% – time used or refunded, LESS than 24 hours or NO show – NO refund.
Cancellations or reschedule for New Rider Course:
14 days prior the session – fully refunded or rescheduled.
Less than 14 days – $300 + gst fee applied. 48 hours or less – NO Refund or reschedule.
Related to New Rider Couse, Written notice from agreement between ICBC and YETI RDS. The Facility shall provide written notice to each Trainee that:
- certification by the Facility does not guarantee that ICBC will issue an Unrestricted Class 6 or 8 Learner’s Licence;
- The Trainee may not submit the certification form to ICBC until the Earliest Exam Date indicated on their Class 8 learner’s licence; and
- ICBC may require a certified Trainee to be retested by a Driver Examiner.
Minimum Requirements for New Rider Course or riding sessions:
- A Class 6L or 8L (Learner’s permit), obtained after passing a knowledge test at ICBC.
- Minimum riding gear: boots that cover the ankle, full length trousers, a jacket that zips in the front, leather gloves or equivalent.
- A full face, 3/4 coverage or modular helmet that meets industry standards. We have helmets available if you don’t have one yet, or if yours does not meet the standard.
For canceling a road test appointment made by the school, we require 72 hours notice, as we must notify ICBC. Failure to give us 72-hour notice may result in a late cancellation fee being charged by ICBC ($25).
Scent-free environment for all our learners. Wearing strong perfumes or having strong food, tobacco, or perspiration odours are strictly prohibited and can result in cancellation of a training session.
Students must always:
- carry a valid learner’s license with them,
- be physically, mentally, and emotionally ready for a lesson,
- dress appropriately for a lesson and weather conditions, and be on time,
- book your next session at the end of the current session or, if you take a break, contact the school 4 weeks before a desired date,
- listen to & follow the instructions given be the instructor, we are here To Support Your Effort To Improve

7:00-8:15, 9:00-10:15, 10:30-11:45am,
3:15-4:30, 4:45-6:00pm
(Example Wednesdays at 3:15 pm, Highschool DC, or Memorial Arena)
Majority of 3:15 pm and 4:45 pm spots are booked for 6 weeks ahead.
If you Highschool student and planning to use our car for road test, be ready take some lessons in the morning as well close to test.
